The food here is always delicious, regardless of whether you eat tarte flambée, salad or steak. The price is absolutely okay. You should reserve a table in advance (possible online and by phone). Parking spaces are available in the area, but often in short supply.

Unfortunately we didn't like the food. The quark on the baked potatoes was unseasoned and spread over the aluminum foil, the rest of the food (various tarte flambée) is a matter of taste, but unfortunately it didn't meet our taste. The many stuffed animals in the dining room were also not so nice to look at while we were eating (especially for our children). The service was good, the very young girls across the board were very helpful and friendly.

A really nice place, food tasted good in itself, BUT: With 4 people at the table, the food came very delayed, the rump steak was medium, the sirloin pieces were dry and cold, the hut plate should be on the salad menu (lots of salad and only 6 small pieces of meat), half cloves of garlic on the tarte flambée are not for everyone, the cover of the toilet flush was under the toilet, loose cotton rolls to pick up and tear off are unsanitary. Incredibly a shame.

The well-attended hut with its homely charm offers appetizing variations around the tarte flambée that really taste good. Great atmosphere inside and outside despite the restrictions due to the Corona measures! The service is very attentive and smart. Excellent!

Yesterday it was just too full for me and that's why we weren't served as nicely as usual. And I don't think it was right with the distance between the tables. Food was good.

Nice location, nice staff. However, the ham on the Alsatian tarte flambée is of poor, fatty quality. Unfortunately, my pork loins were very dry. Sheep cheese as a starter is very tasty.

I had the turkey with veggies and salad. Always eat it there, doesn’t really taste as good when you get it to go.

Can call your order over the phone, or place online. Great German authentic restaurant with an excellent menu. Flammkuchen pizza ist the best, reccomend Speedy Gonzales pizza.

Nice atmosphere, courteous service. Always new, delicious Flammkuchemkreationen. Salads and steaks are also highly recommended. In summer you can take a seat in the cozy, Mediterranean designed courtyard.

//READ THIS WHOLE POST// You were out of pfifferling -- kitchen should keep enough inventory on hand for the weekend, especially for the seasonal items. Service was nominal. //UPDATE - FOUR MONTHS LATER// So, I was coughing & choking, signalled to you I needed water, I said tap water, you charged me €1 for the damned tapwater. No extra napkins, no silverware, no salt & pepper. This is crappy service, i.e. this is one of the times I wish the waitresses takehome pay was dependent upon how happy I was with the service, like back home. Seriously. Reducing to 2 stars.

This is one of those local spots that you only want to share with a loved one and special friends. This place is tucked away and perfect for a quiet get away lunch or dinner. I was amazed by the decor and the atmosphere. It's almost like walking into a secret garden for dinning. I found this place just looking for a restaurant that serves Flammkuchen and this place was number one on my Yelp search and it really is. I went with a friend to share in this experience and she basically loved everything about it. She had eaten at place that served Flammkuchen and she wasn't impressed by the food or the experience. Just walking into this place you immediately feel at ease with the hard wood interior and log cabin feel. As you walk towards the back of the restaurant there is a beautiful garden that is visible through a wall of glass, kind of like a beautiful backyard for the restaurant. The service was immediate and polite, the waitress spoke German and English which was great. The menu is impressive to look at, wrapped in a leather bound book and has both German and English menus. After searching through the menu I found a long list of Flammkuchen that I could try, from vegeiterian to pork. So I decided to ask the waitress what she recommends for my first Flammkuchen, the smoked Salmon or the special which had all sorts of peppers, cheeses, onions, and pork. There was not much difference in price so there was no motivation to order the most expensive one but after she thought about it she offered the special. I accepted her offer and boy was I impressed. Within 15 minutes we received two Flammkuchens hot and straight from the oven. They were both light, crispy, and flavorful. I have never had Flammkuchen before and I was in the mood for Pizza but this was completely different and I was totally blown away by it. The flat crust was light and airey and the white sauce was not heavy at all. The veggies were fresh and the meat was super tender. Even though my Flammkuchen looked like a supreme pizza it was nothing like it and tasted great. I ate the entire thing and I didn't feel guilty for it. If you want to try something new and in a great quiet location you should definitely put this place on your schedule. Not to mention, it's a great place to take a date if you want a romantic getaway. 5 star service, food, and experience.

Really nicely furnished restaurant, looks a lot from the outside and inside. Service is super friendly and despite a full house, someone kept coming and asked if everything was OK. Tarte flambée and starters were really delicious. I personally find it just a little expensive for a tarte flambee but that made up for the taste and ambience. Definitely worth a visit :)
